Michigan's Only National Heritage Area
Preserving and sharing the sights, places, events and history of our MotorCities National Heritage Area is as vital now as it was when we were first established in 1998. Since that time, we have served our communities by awarding over 300 grants for a total investment in local programs of more than $1.6 million dollars.
This automotive story, which originated here in this region but impacted the world, deserves to be preserved. Best of all, the singular story told by the MotorCities is a source of pride for us, as well as a positive influence on our region’s cultural and economic future.
